We are talking about Spiritual Warfare in this series called OUR FIGHT.
Last week we learned how to fight the unseen war like Jesus did. We learned that Satan attacked Jesus at the most opportune time when He was physically weak having fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. And so, we need to be like Jesus, we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit continually as He was so that we can stand up to spiritual attacks that may come to us. Because Satan knows when we’re weak. He has this ability to curate his attacks individually and corporately and attack us at our weakest place.
The devil tempted Jesus to use His power to satisfy Himself, to skip the pain of the cross and go right to the pleasure, and even quoted the Bible to Jesus tempting Him to prove God loved Him.
We learned that Satan knows the Bible, so we must know the Bible better. We must be firm in our knowledge of the Scriptures.
We must never test God’s love for us by questioning His sovereignty.
Today, we’re going to look at another, I think, great example of how Spiritual Warfare is fought. We’ll look at Daniel’s encounter with an angel.
