Today, we commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem which signaled the beginning of Holy Week, the termination of His final journey. We call today Palm Sunday. But what happened today so long ago was much more than just the waving of palm branches.
It was the first time in Jesus’ earthly ministry that He allowed Himself to be publicly praised and popularly acclaimed as Messiah and King.
