Shame Discussion with Clint Thomas (LPC, MA)
Tiffany Fellowship Church Auditorium 7315 NW Barry Road, Kansas City, MOPastor Barry will be interviewing his therapist, Clint Thomas (MA, LPC) on the topic of shame. Clint said that one of the most common mental health issues of today is unmetabolized shame, and that many Christians are unable to experience joy for this reason. He said, "To me, joy seems to be the opposite of shame. Joy is connected and shame is isolating". We will explore shame from a Biblical, as well as clinical, perspective.
