A few weeks ago, my husband and I stood on the platform at our church on a Sunday morning and shared the story of God’s redemption in our marriage. If you’re so inclined, you can watch that message HERE.
While this is a story of grace and healing, it is also one of pain, addiction, and betrayal. But here’s the thing: I know I’m not the only one who has experienced heartache. While the details of your story may look very different from mine, we both need the same thing: intimacy and connection with Jesus in the midst of our hard places.
The title of this journey is Heartache to Healing: God’s Surprising Path to Redeeming Pain, Betrayal, and Disappointment.
During these 4-weeks, we will see with fresh eyes the God who rescues us from our suffering, restores our brokenness, reconciles our past with our future, and redeems all that’s been lost.
Listen, I’m not gonna sugarcoat anything; this has been a brutal 18+ months for my husband and me. And we’re still in the process of recovery, but I can tell you that redemption IS possible. No matter where you are in your journey, no matter what you’re struggling with, God knows. He sees you and He hears you. If you are willing to walk with Jesus, letting Him lead you along the path, He will bring you through your heartache into a place of healing on the other side. I promise, you will discover anew that He is the best friend you can ever have.
