Matt Knowles

Matt Knowles has been a passionate member of our church staff since 2017. He first came on board as our Children’s Pastor, bringing contagious energy, creativity, and a heart for helping kids discover the joy of following Jesus. In December 2024, Matt stepped into his current role as Executive Pastor, where he serves faithfully with a heart to encourage, support, and equip others for ministry.

Matt earned his Certificate of Ministry in 2019, received his Ministry License in 2020, and was ordained in 2023 — each step marking his deep commitment to growing in faith and leadership. He’s passionate about seeing people experience true discipleship and go deeper in their relationship with God. Whether he’s leading a team, mentoring others, or serving behind the scenes, Matt’s greatest joy is watching lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Matt is happily married to Melissa, and together they have two children, Emma and Connor. They enjoy traveling and spending quality time together, whether it’s exploring new places on a road trip or cruising the ocean. In his downtime, Matt loves hitting the golf course or casting a line, savoring moments of relaxation and the beauty of God’s creation.
