Why get connected to a church?

Most people want to get connected. Connections are very important to us at Tiffany Fellowship Church.

Jesus understood the need for people to be connected. Christ chose 12 disciples. They worked together, prayed together, ministered together, and had fellowship together. They were connected!

As the church began to grow they banded together with a common purpose. They needed each other. Membership in a local church has several benefits and reasons why membership is important.

The Benefits of being connected!

1. Identity
When you choose a church in which to worship, membership there can provide an identity for you. You share common beliefs, doctrines, and goals. You are a part of a group of people that collectively become the “church”.

2. Credibility
Churches that believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God are organizations that can provide credibility financially, morally, and socially to the member.

3. Activity
Identifying with a local church provides wholesome activities for you and your family. You can participate with new friends, old friends and individuals that you would not have the opportunity if it wasn’t for church.

4. Continuity
Being a member of one church provides consistency in doctrine.

5. Opportunity
Church membership gives opportunity touch lives by volunteering in one of many ministry areas, serving on the Elder Board, leadership in Men’s, Women's Ministries, Student Ministries, Kid’s Church, etc.

6. Responsibility
As church members, we have the responsibility of prayerfully electing officers, pastors, etc. Financial support of the church through tithes and offerings is taught in the Scriptures. Our presence in the worship services is a responsibility and a privilege.
All these responsibilities bring blessings.

"And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved" (Acts 2:47)
