enigma - Part 1 - The Unforgivable Sin

July 29, 2018 - Senior Pastor Barry Clair starts a new seres called "Enigma" with the message "The Unforgivable Sin"

According to the dictionary, an enigma is something that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand.

There are many passages in the Bible that fit that definition.  I call them the enigmatic statements of Scripture.  Over the next several weeks, we're going to take a look at some of these verses, some of these passages that are hard to explain, hard to understand, and we are going to 'puzzle' over them.

The Second Coming of Christ

July 22, 2018 - Senior Pastor Barry Clair shares the message "The Second Coming of Christ"

I don't know why, but I tink the church has lost much of its consciousness of the fact that Jesus is coming soon.

We are going to talk a bit about what the Bible says will happen at the end of the earth.

A Man You Can Follow - Pt. 7 - Easier Said Than Done

July 15, 2018 - Senior Pastor Barry Clair concludes the series "A Man You Can Follow" with a message called "Easier Said Than Done"

We've been focusing on the human nature of Jesus who called himself by the title of Son of Man.  In fact, 81 times in the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John - He calls Himself Son of Man.  Using that title was not only in fulfilling the Daniel 7 prophecy, but Jesus was emphasizing the reality of His humanity.

If you think you are a Christian, then you must emulate Him in His humanity.
What does that mean?  It means you must follow His example.

A Man You Can Follow Part 6 - Praying Like Jesus

July 8, 2018 - Senior Pastor Barry Clair continues the series "A Man You Can Follow" with a message called "Praying Like Jesus"

Have you ever wondered why Jesus prayed?  I don't have a lot of time on my hands, but I wonder about these things, especially when I'm preping for a message.  I understand the greatness of God.  I understand the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.  And I know and understand that He is God, and He was God; He never gave up any portion of His God-ness.

Then, why did He need to pray?

In John chapter 10 verse 30, Jesus said, "I and my Father are One."  Why, then, would Jesus, who is One with the Father, have to pray?

A Man You Can Follow Pt 5 - Finding Purpose Pt 2

July 1, 2018 - Senior Pastor Barry Clair continues the series "A Man You Can Follow" with part 2 of the message "Finding Purpose"

Last week I began with a question, "Do you believe that God has a specific or special purpose for your life?  Do you believe that God created you and purposed in His sovereignty a unique plan just for you?  Do you believe that there is something God has for you to do that if you don't do it, it just won't get done on planet Earth?"

As our scripture text that we are going to read in just a moment puts it, He calls is own sheep by name and leads them out into the pasture.  He goes on ahead of them and His sheep follow Him.

He is a Man that we, as His sheep, can follow.
