A Thrill of Hope - The Encourager of Hope

December 22, 2019 - Pastor Barry Clair continues the series "A Thrill of Hope" with the message "The Encourager of Hope"

Today, I continue today a series called A Thrill of Hope.  We got this title from the lyric of the song,

"A thrill of hope,
The weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn..."

A Thrill of Hope - Light Has Dawned

December 1, 2019 - Pastor Barry Clair starts a new series called "A Thrill of Hope" with the message "Light Has Dawned"

Christmas evokes the feeling of hope because when Jesus was born, when God became incarnate, a light of hope dawned in the world.  You would be correct in saying that hope was born at Christmas.  Jesus came into our world because we cannot survive without hope.  Life is meaningless and tragic and a slog of despair wthout hope.  In the next few minutes I want to help you understand hope by examining hope within its contexts and then draw some conclusions.
